MORE than 200 people attended a lively event to mark Holi - the Hindu festival of colour - in a South Yorkshire town.
The celebrations were organised by the Bharat Integration Group at Oakwood Technology College in Rotherham.
The event marked the ancient festival of Holi, which celebrates the arrival of spring and death of the demon Holika.
The event also celebrated the 150th birthday of the Bengali poet and first non-European Nobel Prize winner for literature, Rabindranath Tagore, who won the award in 1913.
A Bollywood-style variety show was among entertainment.
