YOUNGSTERS from South Yorkshire could help advise the National Trust on how to get more children outdoors.
The trust is recruiting a group of child advisors as part of its work encouraging youngsters to explore the outdoors and get closer to nature.
It is looking to sign up 10 children aged between seven and 12 for the Kids Council.
They will play an important role in developing the charity’s outdoor campaigns and making trust properties more fun for younger visitors.
The perfect candidate will be brimming with enthusiasm and fun, plus have a natural love for the outdoors and fresh air.
Those chosen will be offered a year’s access to National Trust places for themselves and their families. Applications must be in by September 7. Forms can be downloaded from the National Trust website nationaltrust.org.uk/kidscouncil.
