Residents in Sheffield are being asked to look out for their new waste and recycling collection calendar – and fill in a survey about the service.
Contractor Veolia is sending the calendars to all households through October, which give collection dates for the coming 12 months.
Inside the calendar are details of the company’s online waste survey, which can be filled in until the end of the month.
Responses will be used to update the plan for dealing with Sheffield’s waste in the coming years.
Coun Jack Scott, Sheffield Council cabinet member for environment, recycling and streetscene, said: “We need to update our plans for managing Sheffield’s waste and recycling for the next five to 20 years.
“How we handle waste is an important part of tackling climate change and keeping Sheffield a green city.
“I want as many people as possible to fill in the online survey to ensure we offer the right waste and recycling services for Sheffield.”
