A TEAM of staff from a Sheffield hotel are celebrating after completing the Bupa Great Yorkshire Run.
Eleven members of staff from the Rutland Hotel on Glossop Road, Broomhill, raised money for South Yorkshire Heart Appeal their chosen charity for the year.
The charity aims to support research and improve specialist treatment for people suffering from heart conditions in Sheffield and across South Yorkshire.
Hotel sales manager Katey Dent said: “We have many families staying at the hotel whose relatives are having some form of surgery at the Sheffield hospitals.
“We wanted to stand out from the crown at the run, so all donned branded T-shirts and had heart-shaped balloons and heart boppers on our heads.”
Despite a few injuries the team all finished and raised more than £2,000.
