It is the local lottery for local people – raising money for one of Sheffield’s best loved charities.
Now the St Luke’s Hospice Lottery has been rebranded as Play Local.
To highlight the fresh look, a special launch event was held in Sheffield city centre, encouraging even more people to sign up.
One of the highlights of the day in Barker’s Pool was an interactive goal scoring game which gave players an instant chance to win prizes.
Prizes included tickets to Mrs Brown’s Boys at Sheffield Arena, Owls and Blades tickets, Meadowhall vouchers, Henderson’s Relish merchandise and a Sheffield Monopoly game.
Leia Bunker, for St Luke’s Lottery, said: “Following the National Lottery’s price rise to £2, we are delighted to be able to say our price remains at just £1.
“And you are five times more likely to win a four-figure sum with us.”
