Honour for Olympics hero
Rotherham's Olympic sailing hero Paul Goodison has been given the honour of the Freedom of the Borough.
The 30-year-old, who won a gold medal in the Laser class at the Beijing Olympics, learned to sail at Rotherham's Ulley Reservoir.
Other recipients were former Labour MP Stan Crowther and ex-borough council Tory leader Michael Clarke.
