An online register for Sheffield people interested in building their own homes has been launched.
Last month the Government announced Sheffield Council was to receive £100,000 to support groups planning custom builds and to deliver more than 800 self-build sites as part of a new initiative.
Now an online custom build register has been launched, where people can let the council know about what kind of home they want to build and that they are looking for land.
A public information event is to be held at Sheffield Town Hall next Saturday, November 22, where people can learn more about the Right to Build scheme.
