Homes for refugees

Have your say

While reading about the Council’s plans to demolish the Grosvenor House Hotel, I realised that what a lame excuse we use in Sheffield, saying we have nowhere to house the poor asylum seekers fleeing for their lives.

Besides the Grosvenor we have so many empty buildings not being used.

Fitzalan Square Post Office, B&C Co-op Castle House, Salvation Army Citadel, Cross Burgess Street, West Bar Police Station, St Vincent’s Church, empty/disused churches, and pubs.
