EASTER fun is on offer to children at pet stores across South Yorkshire.
Branches of Pets at Home in Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley and Doncaster are holding kids’ holiday club workshops every day at 2pm from next week until May 6.
Sessions aim to raise awareness of responsible pet ownership and the mutual benefits of living with pets.
Children attending the events will each receive an activity pack outlining how to keep happy and healthy all pets, such as hamsters, gerbils and guinea pigs.
The store teams will be on hand to share their knowledge, quizzing the children on pet care in a ‘furry food challenge’.
They will also help children to get crafty and create their own hamster mask as part of National Pet Month.
