The history of glass making in Rotherham and the Dearne Valley is the subject of a new exhibition.
Visitors to Rotherham’s Clifton Park Museum will find out how glass is made, the local companies that produced it over the centuries and how glass has changed over time.
The exhibition, which is on now until spring 2016, has been organised with the help of the Dearne Valley Landscape Partnership and Beatson Clark glass company.
Entry to Clifton Park Museum, as well as to view the new exhibition, is free.
To complement the exhibition, there will be a glass decorating family fun day at the museum on August 18.
Workshops are available from 11am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 3pm for children between three and 12-years-old.
To book a place, for £3 per child, call Clifton Park Museum on 01709 336633.
