Staff from Santander’s office in Sheffield took a day away from their desks to tend the gardens at Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
A team of 11 headed out to the hospice at North Anston as part of the bank’s Community Days scheme.
The team spent the day removing large rocks, debris and weeds from the garden and levelling off the land to create a peaceful sanctuary for the children and their families.
Jane Thornton, team manager at Santander in Sheffield, said: “We all had a great day doing something helpful for a very worthwhile cause. We wanted to create a calm area that will benefit families.”
