Helping us to help runaways

On behalf of the board of trustees I would like to thank Manor Operatic Society for inviting Safe@Last to hold collections during the run of the Sleeping Beauty panto at Sheffield City Hall.

We collected 2158.21 which will support services we provide to help vulnerable young children at risk through running away in the South Yorkshire area.

Safe@Last is now the only group to provide a children's refuge in England, meaning there are now only two beds available to young runaways. We frequently receive calls from children who have been thrown out or who have had little choice but to run away from home to escape violence and abuse.
