A STRING of Doncaster College students have signed up to help protect young people online.

Some 20 students have volunteered to be trained as cybermentors, a collection of young people who receive two days intensive face-to-face training from BeatBullying staff which they can use to mentor other young people on issues of bullying, cyberbullying and wellbeing.

The students, who come from courses throughout the college including animal care, sports, public services and construction, received a certificate to mark their successful completion of the course which is part of the college’s series of measures to protect others.
