OUTDOOR lovers are invited to take part in a consultation to develop the future of the Peak District National Park.
The Join Our Conversation exercise is seeking comments on a draft new national park management plan. The plan will form the main policy for the development of the park between 2012 and 2017.
The Peak Park authority has been working with farmers, charities, parish councils, tourism organisations, councils and other public bodies to produce the plan.
Jim Dixon, chief executive of the Peak District National Park Authority, said: “Although a policy document might not sound important what it will deliver will have an impact on the lives of every resident, business and visitor.”
Log on to www.peakdistrict.gov.uk/npmpconsultation to comment before July 1.
