A CAMPAIGN has been launched to help women beat online scammers after a survey found most had doubts they were doing enough to protect themselves.

A total of 56 per cent of respondents felt they were unsure whether they had the technological skills to help protect themselves from fraud online.

The ‘Devil’s in Your Details’ is a video-driven campaign backed by the National Fraud Authority, the telecoms industry and the Government.

Director Peter Wilson, said: “Our research shows women are one of the most aware and proactive groups at protecting themselves from fraud but are not confident their efforts will have much effect.”
