Help care for pets in the city

A CHARITY is looking for volunteers in Sheffield to help look after pets for elderly and terminally ill people.

The Cinnamon Trust has a shortage of volunteers in the city to carry out tasks such as walking dogs, fostering pets and cleaning out bird cages.

In particular, the trust needs a helper to provide walks for a four-year-old Rottweiler and a Collie cross dog.

“Even if you can only offer an hour a week it will improve the dog’s quality of life so much and give the owner peace of mind,” a spokeswoman for the charity said.

Anyone interested in helping should email or call 01736 758 707.
