Heated debate over food van

Have your say

A ROW has broken out over plans for a food vendor to set up shop in part of Sheffield.

An application for a van selling hot and cold food and drinks in Livesey Street, Hillsborough, has been submitted to the city council.

But Russell Price, owner of a nearby food business, has objected to the proposal as he believes the competition poses a threat to his livelihood.

Sheffield Council’s licensing committee will make a decision on the application for Shell’s Kitchen at a meeting tomorrow.
