Hikers from South Yorkshire have just two weeks left to sign up for the British Heart Foundation’s Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.
The 25-mile hike takes place on Saturday, July 23, and in just one day participants will climb the county’s highest three peaks - Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.
It is hoped the event will raise £33,000 for the vital work of the national heart charity.
Entry to the event, which is for over 18s only, is £15.
A charity spokeswoman said: “We are dedicated to saving lives through pioneering research, patient care, campaigning for change and by providing vital information. But we urgently need help.
“We rely on donations of time and money to continue our life-saving work.”
