Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust is rewarding its star employees and volunteers for their hard work.
An awards ceremony will be held on Monday for those who have ‘gone the extra mile’ in various categories ranging from volunteers to professionals, in clinical and non-clinical roles.
The trust employs more than 3,500 individuals and provides services, including help for people dependent on drugs and alcohol, patients with learning disabilities and mental health issues.
The ceremony will include a reflection by chairman Professor Alan Walker on the trust’s performance and aspirations for the future, as well as a Q&A session with lead governor John Kay.
The awards presentation will be part of SHSC’s Annual Members meeting and will take place at the Mega Centre, Bernard Road, from 12.45pm to 3.30pm.
The event also includes free advice on the trust’s services plus information on how volunteers can get involved.
