Families are being invited to sign up for the second Jessops Buggy Push this spring to raise money for Sheffield Hospitals Charity.
The Buggy Push was launched last year and proved to be so popular it has now been turned into an annual event.
There will be a choice of a 5km route or a shorter circular route for little legs, at the event at Rother Valley Country Park, on Sunday, May 31.
The walk will start at 11am with a warm up and finish with a teddy bear’s picnic.
Jenna Settle, community fundraising officer at Sheffield Hospitals Charity, which organises the event, said: “Last year’s Buggy Push attracted over 250 people and was a wonderful way for supporters to come together and raise funds for the charity.
“The Jessop Wing holds a special place in many families’ hearts and the Buggy Push brings together Jessop staff, patients and lots of children. It promises to be a super event and I’d encourage people to sign up and get involved.”
The event, which is sponsored by Duo Call, also features entertainment for children including balloon modelling, a ball pit and songs from the Voice of Jessop Wing choir.
Phil Coley, director at Duo Call, said: “It’s is an incredible event that’s really accessible for anyone who wants to get up and active with their families.”
