Shoppers were asked to sign a pledge promising to improve their health when Sheffield hospital staff paid a visit to Meadowhall.
Staff from BMI Thornbury Hospital, in Ranmoor, asked passers-by to add their signatures to a ‘big health pledge’, which aims to help people make small lifestyle changes to tackle killer illnesses including strokes, cancer and heart disease.
Kristian Campbell, director of operations at Thornbury, said: “The roadshow was a huge success as people of all ages came up to the stand and were really keen to pledge.
“Sheffield residents can make small changes to see a big difference in their health.”
