Shoppers in Sheffield were challenged to attempt tricks when circus performers visited the city centre to support a charity.

Changing Faces - which supports people with facial disfigurements - joined forces with Greentop Circus, inviting passers-by to try stilt-walking, tightrope walking and unicycling on Fargate.

They were joined by Rachel Davidson, from Hillsborough, and her one-year-old daughter, Hallie, who has rare Sturge-Weber Syndrome. The event was part of a week of awareness-raising activities.

James Partridge, head of Changing Faces, said: “Our vision is of a society where face equality is understood and fully respected.”
