Staff at a Sheffield firm have been going the extra mile in aid of charity Neurocare.

Business turnaround and insolvency specialist Wilson Field has been taking part in Neurocare November, the charity’s flagship fundraiser drive, and has raised £270.

The company has now raised more than £16,000 for the charity in four years.

In Neurocare November 100 individuals and companies across South Yorkshire have raised a minimum of £100 during the month for the charity – raising £10,000.

Wilson Field has staged fundraisers over the past few weeks, including a guess the name of the bear competition.

Neurocare senior fundraiser Corin McCann was a Wilson Field employee for the day and carried out admin duties, as well as making drinks and selling cakes for extra donations.

Wilson Field managing director Nick Wilson said: “Neurocare is one of the main charities we have supported over the years. As a team, we enjoy coming together to raise money for a worthy cause and thinking of inventive fundraising ideas.”

The Sheffield-based firm has raised more than £16,000 for Neurocare over the last four years to help buy equipment for use in Hallamshire Hospital’s neuro theatres.
