A Sheffield slimmer is starting the new year healthier and happier after dropping four dress sizes.
Shanie Powdrill, aged 22, from The Manor, had let her weight increase to the point it stopped her from wanting to leave the house.
At 15-and-a-half stone and a size 22, she suffered from asthma and walking just a few yards, or climbing the stairs, left her breathless.
She said: ““My skin was bad, I felt constantly drained. I had no confidence and I would eat junk food and drink to cheer myself up.”
But with the help of Kelly Wilde, a Personal Wellness Coach, Shanie is now three-and-a-half stone lighter, a size 14, and is well on her way to achieving her goal weight.
Shanie said: “Kelly coached me about healthy eating.
“The hardest part was eating regular, healthy snacks – I never expected to be told to eat more. It’s changed my life for the better and I’m a different person.”
