Pharmacies in Sheffield have announced their opening times for the Spring Bank Holiday next week.
The following chemists will be open on Monday: Asda Pharmacy Chapeltown, Parson Cross, Handsworth - 9am to 6pm; Boots High Street, The Moor, Crystal Peaks, Ecclesall Road - 10.30am to 4.30pm; Boots Heeley Retail Park - 8am to midnight; Boots Meadowhall - 10am to 6pm.
Lloyds Pharmacy Highfield - 10am to 8pm; Lloyds Crystal Peaks - 10am to 5pm; Lloyds Stocksbridge - 9am to 5pm; Morrisons Ecclesfield - 9am to 6pm, closed for lunch from 1pm to 2pm; Sainsbury’s Crystal Peaks, Millhouses - 9am to 7pm; Sheffield Late Night Pharmacy, Broomhill - midday to 10pm.
Swift Chemists at Morrisons Halfway - 10am to 2pm; Tesco Upperthorpe, Abbeydale - 11am to 4pm; Wicker Pharmacy - 10am to 8pm.
Karen Curran, head of primary care for NHS England, South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw said: “Your local pharmacy can help you with more than you might think. Pharmacists offer advice and treatment for many minor health problems.
“As most GP surgeries will be closed on Monday we would also encourage patients to order any medication they need in plenty of time.”
