Health chiefs in Sheffield are urging people eligible for free flu vaccines to take up the offer.

NHS Sheffield Clinical Commissioning Group is supporting the NHS Flu campaign and offering the vaccine free of charge to people who are at risk of developing serious complications if they get flu, including those with heart and kidney disease, asthma and diabetes, the over 65s and pregnant women.

This year children aged two to four are also being offered a free nasal vaccine.

People eligible for the free flu vaccine should be contacted by their GP to arrange an appointment.
