Sheffield Hallam University students and staff supported a campaign to improve relationships between health workers and patients.

The ‘Hello my name is...’ campaign encourages all doctors, nurses, consultants and surgeons to introduce themselves before they begin treatment.

It was launched in 2013 by Dr Kate Granger, a terminally ill cancer patient who became frustrated with the number of staff who failed to tell her their names.
