A MAN whose dad died from cancer is taking on an epic adventure in his memory to raise money for Weston Park Hospital.
Sean Sewell will trek for 21 days across Nepal to reach the Mount Everest Base Camp.
He wants to raise money for the specialist Sheffield hospital to help it continue its lifesaving work with cancer patients from across the region and beyond, at the same time as funding vital research into future drugs and treatments.
Sean, from Aughton, said: “I know how hard it is to carry on with life after those we love are gone. In memory of that I am determined to complete one of the world’s hardest treks so that those who come after me can have their lives eased slightly by my passage.”
