Have your say

FAMILIES with deaf children can watch fun chemistry and physics experiments during an annual summer lecture at Sheffield University.

The Science Brainwaves event is happening in the Richard Roberts Auditorium on Saturday at 6pm, featuring demonstrations conducted in sign language.

Organisers say the event is suitable for families with children aged between seven and 12, and the lecture will also have audio narration.

Performers Audrey Cameron and Gary Quinn will be experimenting with colourful explosions and destroying objects with liquid nitrogen as part of the lecture.
