THREE thousand signatures have been collected against 750 job losses at Rotherham Hospital.
Trade union representatives are to present the petition to the next council of governors meeting at the hospital, on Moorgate Road, on January 9.
There will be a protest outside the hospital at 4.30pm before the meeting, which begins at 5pm.
Signatures on the petition have been collected by trade unionists.
Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust said it needed a ‘smaller hospital, with substantially fewer beds’ to save £50m over the next four years.
