Patients asked for their views

Have your say

A SURVEY is being carried out to find out what patients at Barnsley Hospital think about the care they received.

Patients who have recently been treated at the hospital will receive a questionnaire asking for their views and experiences of the admission to hospital procedures, quality of care, pain control, communication with doctors and nurses, information, medicines, involvement in their care, hospital food, cleanliness and discharge arrangements.

Heather Mcnair, Chief Nurse at Barnsley Hospital, said: “We hope our patients will take the time to help us with this survey. Their views are vital in helping us to find out how we are doing and how we can improve.

“This is an excellent way for patients to help shape the services we provide in the future.”
