A NURSE was flying high when she took part in a skydive raising money for a life-saving medical service.
Louise Gaughan, who works at the Northern General Hospital, completed the jump at Langar airfield in Nottinghamshire.
In total she raised an impressive £524 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance – beating her target of £500.
She was inspired to take on the adrenalin-fuelled challenge after hearing about their lifesaving work through a colleague who volunteers his time to help.
Louise said she had enjoyed the hair-raising stunt and was thrilled to have raised so much cash for the cause.
