A charity is urging people to nominate young Sheffield cancer patients for an award.
The Little Star Awards, run by Cancer Research UK, are open to all under-18s who have cancer or who have been treated for the disease in the last five years.
Last year, 27 Sheffield youngsters received a prize.
All recipients get a trophy, a £50 TK Maxx gift card and a certificate signed by top celebrities.
According to new figures from the charity, three-quarters of children across Britain with cancer are now cured compared with only a quarter in the early 1970s.
Sheffield Children’s Hospital is currently taking part in research trials funded by the good cause, looking into bone cancer and brain tumours.
