NHS Trust in Derbyshire recognised for its Living Wage commitment

Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Trust has been shortlisted for the national Living Wage Champions Awards in recognition of its commitment to support the lowest paid members

of its staff.

The Trust, which employs around 4,400 people, is one of three Trusts nationally to be included in the shortlist.

Organisations which sign up to be Living Wage employers commit to a living wage of £7.65 per hour for employees outside of London, rather than the minimum wage of £6.50.

The national winner will be announced next month.
