New surgeon is appointed

A NEW consultant urological surgeon has been appointed to the five-strong team at Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

Sanjeev Pathak has been a locum in Doncaster since last October and has special interests in upper tract laparoscopic surgery.

Last year he completed his urological training in South Yorkshire and was ranked fourth in the Fellowship Examination of the European Board of Urology. Awarded his MD thesis, he has published in journals and is a member of a number of editorial boards.Formerly a demonstrator in anatomy at The University of Oxford, he is a clinical examiner at the Medical School of The University of Sheffield.
