A DROP-IN day service for adults with mental health problems has moved to a new city centre location.
The Rethink Community Day Service is now delivered each Monday from the charity’s main office at 176 Eyre Street, Sheffield, having left its former base at Lansdowne Chapel in Cemetery Road.
The service provides people with mental health conditions the chance to relax in a friendly atmosphere, interact with others who are experiencing similar problems, play pool and darts and eat lunch together.
The service is open to anyone aged 16 and over who is experiencing mental health problems.
Running costs are covered by the fundraising efforts of charity Rethink and the Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust.
The drop-in service is open every Monday, except Bank Holidays, from 10am until 4pm and other services include support for carers.
