The NHS trust which runs Sheffield’s biggest hospitals has appointed two new non-executive directors to help oversee its work.
Annette Laban and Martin Temple have been given the roles at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Ms Laban has more than 35 years’ experience working within the NHS and local government in senior positions, while Mr Temple is the chairman of manufacturers’ organisation EEF.
Tony Pedder, chairman of the board of directors, said: “I am delighted we have been able to appoint such high-calibre candidates.
“Their experience will complement the rest of the board and bring a fresh perspective to the work we do.”
The posts run for three years and attract a £15,500 remuneration package.
