A South Yorkshire NHS trust has named a new chief executive.

Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust has selected Kathryn Singh as its new leader.

Mrs Singh, who is currently Portfolio Director for the NHS Trust Development Agency (TDA) will start the job in June, taking over from outgoing chief executive Christine Bain.

She said: “I am delighted to be joining Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust as chief executive. This is an exciting opportunity and I look forward to building upon the excellent work which has already been established at the Trust.”

Trust Chairman Lawson Pater said: “I very much look forward to formally welcoming Kathryn to the Trust in June.”
