RESIDENTS in a Sheffield suburb will be encouraged to take to the ice during the half term holiday in a bid to boost activity levels using the popularity of the Dancing On Ice TV show.
The 27ft dry ice rink will be set up in Angram Bank Park in High Green tomorrow, as part of a fun activity organised for the local youngsters.
The event has been organised by NHS Sheffield and the High Hopes Community Group and other partners, with plenty of skates for the community to hire free of charge. .
The Art in the Park scheme and a group of Army Cadets will also be running activities at the event, which runs from 10am until 3pm.
