DONCASTER Royal Infirmary will be the venue for an event to remember those who have died in workplace incidents.
The trade union Unison is planning to hold a remembrance service to mark International Workers Memorial Day on Thursday April 28.
International Workers’ Memorial Day is intended to remember all those killed at or by work, and to reduce risks and protect people from injury in the workplace.
Events are expected to take place all across the country.
Doncaster District and Bassetlaw UNISON Health Branch will hold a purple balloon release outside the main entrance the hospital.
Doncaster Central MP Rosie Winterton MP has agreed to wear the purple remembrance ribbon in Westminster on the day to mark the occasion.
