A new medical director is to take charge of Rotherham Hospital – after moving back to the UK from Australia.
Dr Conrad Wareham has been appointed to the post at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust.
He is leaving Australia after working Down Under for the past 10 years in a variety of senior medical roles.
Dr Wareham said: “The decade I have spent in Australia has been a tremendous professional and personal opportunity. I am excited about my new role in Rotherham and look forward to putting my experience and skills to good use back at home.”
Louise Barnett, trust chief executive, said: “I am sure Dr Wareham’s experience will be invaluable as he works with colleagues to help shape and deliver services for our patients.”
