Supermarket workers in Rotherham have been taught about the effects of strokes to be able to communicate better with customers who have suffered one.
The Stroke Association delivered information sessions with Tesco staff in Maltby, Wath upon Dearne, Dinnington and Rotherham town centre.
Gavin Haslam, who manages at Maltby, said: “A stroke can affect anyone and it’s really important to be able to understand the difficulties that survivors face.
“We’re grateful to the Stroke Association for helping us to learn how to provide a great service to those who have suffered a stroke. Our colleagues learned a great deal from the training.”
