FORMER armed forces personnel and their families are being offered help with mental health matters through a new outreach service by Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Hannah Muscroft-Bloomfield has been appointed as the veterans outreach therapist for South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw.
She will be based at SHSC’s St George’s Community Health Centre on Winter Street in Sheffield.
The post has been created due to specific funding from the Department of Health and Hannah is now one of four people across Yorkshire and Humberside taking up the role.
Hannah said: “We offer a mental health assessment, support and advice for individuals who can be referred to the service or may refer themselves in.”
