She crawled through mud, ran through fire, even dodged electric shocks – but that’s what it takes to be a Total Warrior!

St Luke’s Hospice Fundraising Assistant Nikki Moorhouse took on the trials of the Total Warrior challenge in Leeds, enduring a 12k run and 33 physically gruelling obstacles, to raise more than £350 for Sheffield’s only hospice.

“It was really tough but the pain was worth it,” said 29-year-old Nikki, of Nether Edge - who enjoyed the day so much she’s already planning to up the stakes for the even tougher London Spartan Sprint this August.

“Without the support of the people of Sheffield we couldn’t carry on what we do at the hospice,” she said.
