ROAD crash victims taken to hospital in Sheffield with head injuries have received more specialist rehabilitation than in any other part of the country, according to new research.
Last year, more than 240 people were admitted with head injuries in the city following collisions, with 73 receiving specialist rehab care.
The figures are part of a report commissioned by law firm Irwin Mitchell, claiming serious injury victims face a ‘postcode lottery’ nationally in accessing rehabilitation.
