STAFF and gym members at Fitness Flex in High Fishergate, Doncaster, will be taking part in a bikeathon to raise funds for poorly local girl Abigail Cook.

They will be setting up bikes in the downstairs foyer on January 26 to ride the equivalent distance from Doncaster to London and back.

The event is to raise money for seven-year-old Abigail Cook, who was diagnosed with Batten Disease, a rare condition which could lead to her death by the age of 14.

Her family has launched Abigail’s Wish List, which includes a trip to Florida so she can fulfil her dream to swim with dolphins.

Anyone wanting to get involved can call 01302 344 476.
