Parkrunners ready to set off in Graves Park

A weekly fitness event in Sheffield looks set to run and run after reaching its second anniversary.

Over the last two years the Graves Park run has attracted more than 1,800 participants who have clocked up over 50,000km between them, according to one of the organisers, Heeley GP Dr Ollie Hart.

“It’s always friendly and supportive,” said Dr Hart. “It doesn’t matter if you’re one of the athletes jostling for the front spots or one of the mums with a buggy - it provides a buzz for all.”
