Bad parking upsets residents

Concern has been expressed by a number of Tickhill residents about the continued parking of vehicles on grass verges and pavements around the town.

Cars parked half on footpaths make it hazardous for pedestrians, particularly those with pushchairs and drivers of disability scooters. Vehicles regularly park on verges and plough up the grass.

The local authority traffic warden has been informed of the problem and has the potential to issue on-the-spot fines to the offenders.
