New hospital consultant

A NEW consultant radiologist, with a special interest in the liver, gall bladder and gastrointestinal imaging, has joined Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Since becoming part of the 16-strong consultant radiology team, Dr Mathew Kaduthodil has been instrumental in setting up a virtual patient-centred colonoscopy and gastrostomy service and trains registrars in the area of expertise.

Dr Kaduthodil won the Grainger Prize in 2007 for the best presentation among the registrars in the Sheffield Radiology Training Scheme.

“I am very pleased to be working with such a dynamic and talented group of people, providing a top-rate radiology service to the people of Doncaster and Bassetlaw,” he said.
