Hospital review of signage

PATIENTS and visitors at Barnsley Hospital are being asked how it can improve its signage.

Focus groups are to be held for people to tell the hospital what they think of proposed new designs and ways of signposting.

Kirsten Woodhouse, project manager, said: “It is really important before we start making any changes that we know what our patients and visitors think – to make sure we are addressing the real issues and coming up with signposting solutions that are of real use to people coming to the hospital.

“We recognise that some of the signage in the hospital is dated. There have been several major changes in the last few years which are not reflected in our signage.”

Call 01226 432301 to register and take part in the review.
